How to Use a Speaker With Headphones Plugged In
Many home stereo receivers automatically cut off the sound to the connected speakers when the headphones are plugged in. This isn't always the case, however. If your receiver has the correct settings and controls, you can use headphones(BUY IT HERE >>) at the same time the speakers are playing.
Instructions
1. Plug your headphones into the headphones(via ibeats-uk.com) jack on the front of the receiver. The headphones jack is usually located on the left of the front panel.
2. Set your speaker selector switch to "ON." Some receivers will have a set of buttons, labeled "A" and "B," indicating primary and secondary pairs of speakers. Push the proper button to the "ON" position for the speakers you have connected.
3. Turn the receiver on and set the volume to the desired level.
